29-year old American guard Ethan Alvano (185-G-1996) had a very impressive game in the last round for Wonju DB and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 15.
He got a double-double of 26 points and 10 assists, while his team beat Seoul Thunders (#7, 7-10) 84-79. Wonju DB is placed at 3rd position in South Korean league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Wonju DB will need more victories to improve their 10-7 record. In the team's last game Alvano had a remarkable 55.6% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 10 attempts. He has many years of experience at Wonju DB, through which he has constantly improved. California State University San Marcos graduate has very impressive stats this year. Alvano is in league's top in points (8th best: 18.1ppg) and averages solid 42.6% from behind 3-point line. Worth to mention Alvano played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.

Second best performed player last round was Jameel Warney (203-C-1994) of Seoul SK Knights. He is American center in his 7th season at Seoul Knights. In the last game Warney recorded an impressive double-double of 26 points and 10 rebounds. Of course he led Knights to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Mobis Phoebus (#9, 6-11) 89-68. Seoul Knights' 5th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 9-8 record is not bad and everything may still change. Warney is one of the most experienced players at Seoul Knights and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 26.6ppg (#1). His other stats are also decent: 12.9rpg and 5.0apg.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Shawn Long (208-F-1993, agency: Pensack Sports) of Busan KCC Egis (#4). Long showcased his all-around game by recording 19 points, 12 rebounds (!!!) and 4 assists in the last round. Despite Long's great performance the Egis lost 74-85 to the lower-ranked Sono SG (#8, 7-10). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing KCC Egis needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 9 victories and 7 lost games. Long has a great season in South Korea. After 16 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 13.1rpg (2nd best).
